Man critically injured in Central East Austin shooting
AUSTIN – One man has been critically injured in an early morning shooting, and police say they are looking for the person responsible.
Austin-Travis County EMS said they were called to the area of Lynridge Drive, near Manor Road and U.S. 183, around 5:30 a.m. Dec. 7 for the shooting. Police tell KVUE the victim knocked on the door of a home, and that the family found the victim had a gunshot wound to his back. The victim reportedly told police he was pointed down the road.
EMS said the man was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical injuries, and police say he is in surgery.
