Tim Kephart is KVUE’s digital content manager. He comes to KVUE after spending the last seven years in South Florida working for the CBS- and NBC-owned and operated stations. Tim brings with him over a decade of experience, plus a Master’s Degree from the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism. He's also a historian, which provides him a unique perspective on the news of the day from the U.S. and around the world.
In the past few years, Tim wrote about or covered a multitude of stories including: the Super Bowl, NFL Pro Bowl, multiple NBA Finals, all of the Miami professional sports teams, the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections, the Miami cannibal case, Senatorial and Gubernatorial debates, and even Wrestlemania. He started out as a studio camera operator and worked his way up to being a television news producer before starting a career path that included working as a television news executive producer, digital producer, senior digital producer, and executive digital producer. He also spent a year working for the Associated Press in Washington, D.C.
When Tim’s not working, he enjoys spending all of his time with his wife and son, playing the guitar and watching as much football as he possibly can each weekend.
